So, I was at the lake yesterday and nothing was hitting on lures at all. I wanted to catch some sunfish for nighttime catfish fishing but did not have any natural baits. I suddenly realize that I really do not have any artificial that are specifically for Sunfish. Sure I have caught some on crappie jibs. I know some people really target sunfish on artificial and have honed that skill. So, I was wanting to add some good go-to baits to my tackle boxes just for sunfish.
So, for those of you that have turned sunfish fishing into an art form, what are your top suggestions for sunfish jigs and lures?

When fishing for crappie I found that the Bluegill would hit the jigs as good as the crappie. Overall Chartreuse/Black got the best results.
Side Note: Leo-Gar1970 and Yesenia-Pot Licker would know what colors work best for anything that swims. Their jigs simply catch fish. Hope one of them will reply.

My go to for catching sunfish is 1/32nd Mule jig with Donkey Tail Jr. Check out Mulefishing.com. Best micro plastic I have found yet. Like Zman elaztech but in micro size. Unbeatable value for the money. For someone like you just using to catch bait a single package would probably last a year or more.
