I think I read that cow farts directly affect the quality of beef. The more a cow farts, the better the beef quality. Cows that have a problem farting produce really poor quality beef. Look it up.

Next thing will be permits for cooking a pot of beans!!! put a few slices of an apple in them, cuts way down on the gas. I surround the beans with chili you pull your own finger afterward?

8 billion people. 1 billion head of cattle globally. Roughly the same biomass, but cattle produce 240 times as much methane as humans.
The "chemical" is a 1% addition of seaweed to their diet, which reduces methane release by 60%.
The seaweed doesn't affect the taste of milk or meat and at production scale could be cheaper than the 1% of standard feed it would displace.
I have no idea how big of a deal cattle farts are for the climate, but the whole thing might not be as crazy as it sounds initially. You hate to have any more dang laws though.

My guess it took an Engineer to rig up the cow fart monitor and equipment to capture data. Just think, send your kid off to collage to get an Engineering degree in cow fart monitoring!!!
Thanks, Billy

Bovaer® is the additive that has been approved as being safe for cows. I wonder if the approving folks are the same ones that said the vaccines were safe and effective against Covid? I wonder what the long term affects are to the cow's and their offspring? Can the dairy cows still sent to the saluter houses after they are threw being milk cows? Lots of unanswered questions about adding more chemicals to our food sources.
