Was at Atwood’s today saw they had durastart batteries. Starting battery has 1000cca the deep cycle batteries 27 series 182 reserve minutes. Just wondering if anyone has tried them good or bad?

have had 6 of their side by side size in our machines and am not all that impressed with them.

could have saved some cash at wal mart and got the same performance.

for flooded cell or agm I think deka outshines all of them, had dekas (3 grp 27 and one grp 24) that were still going strong after 3 yrs. their grp 24 is a 1000cca and is still in my champion, swapped to ionic for trolling motor and going to put one in for start soon.

deka made in penn. durastart I believe are a johnson control battery and made in mexico, sams carries the duracell agm grp 31 which is also made by deka.

I have had better luck with batteries made by East Penn than I have batteries made by Johnson Controls also.
