Anyone else been out chasing yellows on the Hill? Went out all night last night. 5-6 flatheads on live perch. Biggest was about 10lbs.

Bonus was some wipers… one was about 8-10lbs.

Never caught big flat heads on PH but wipers,lots of 10 plus lbr's ,tons of fight in them and they are delicious.


Have you tried Stamford for flatties..........real sleeper in my opinion.

I’ve heard Stamford is good. I’m a bank fisherman though and it doesn’t look like it has a lot of good shore access.

Still might give it a try though. I’m in West Texas been trying to find good Flathead fishing east of here. Twin Buttes and the Concho near San Angelo are on my radar too.
