Fished yesterday with Alan (aka Choclabdog) part day in separate boats, & part day together. The lake is currently sitting at 390.5 MSL & full pool is 391, so we are almost full. The sunfish bite is improving every week. This week I found them in 4 separate areas out of the 10 that I tried. The bass bite is also still good as we split our time between the two. There was no distinct pattern to the bass bite...you just have to be on the lake when they turn on.We finally fished a day where the wind wasn't too bad & we caught a ton of fish. All fish returned to the lake for others to enjoy in the future. I hope everyone understands the need to release the larger fish back for the betterment of the fishery. Keepin fish for the table is fine, but a strong sunfish population requires a little common sense management from all of us...It is not an unlimited resource... [Linked Image]

Excellent day indeed! We saw you guys over at the intake right before heading in about 6:00 pm. Conditions were perfect and produced big numbers with several bass over 4lbs. Hoping for more of those 5-10 mph southeast wind days lol. See you at the lake or golf course - stay safe!

Thanks Yesenia...

Jamie...I really haven't tried the reeds yet...every time I head that way I see boatloads of cast netters pounding the shallows near the reeds I like to fish...so maybe try in a month or so...

Totally agree.

Side Note: What depth are you catching the bass at?

Thanks Curtis & Tom...Bass depth really varies, but I would say the best ones this past week came from around 10-15 feet...
