We headed to Amistad today. When we arrived there was a boatload of boats. So it took a while to launch not only because there was a lot of people but the water has dropped so much that they closed half of the boat ramp at Diablo East ramp.
Once we launched we headed to our honey hole and caught smallies, lmb and some sunfish. We moved around the lake today and also fished under the bridge by pilings and caught a small bass and a couple of sunfish. We moved again and fished by the dam. We caught small mouth and alot of pretty sunfish.








I think these sunfish are so pretty. Can someone plz tell me if they are hybrid or are they just in there spawning colors.
We caught all fish on JIGLYF jigs and released to swim another day.

Nice catch...Especially the smallmouth...As bad as we need the rain...they need it more to help fill up those lakes. I believe the question mark fish is a spawn ready bluegill...

Your JIGLYF jigs will catch just about every freshwater fish in Texas based on in my experiences.

Regarding the Sunfish, you caught Redbreast and Redbreast hybrids (looks like some a w Longear and some w BG’s)
