The shad are running in the coves by Buchanan Lake Village starting to catch whites and hybrids. Catching stripers and whites in the mornings in the cove in front of Big Chief and along the rocks between the flood gates.

Thanks for info. I know from reports Lake level low, but is it so low you have a difficult time launching???????

Buchanan is a little low, it's not that bad. Launching should not be a problem. People were launching at Llano County Park this weekend and this morning and I put in at Eldorado Park at BLV this morning without any problem.
