Smaller blues will be attracted by range cubes, but mostly channels. Soured grain and milo are great, though range cubes are more convenient (a little more spendy too) to use.

I use a 4" PVC tube cut to about a 3' length with one end capped. Drill holes in the PVC and hang from the dock leaving a few inches above water. It helps to put some lead weights in the tube. Fill with dogfood or what is best is sinking fish food. Fill it every morning and in a few days you will have plenty of fish showing up at your dock.

Just pee in the water.
The scent of worm juice drives them nuts.

In baiting a hole I use Range cube about 10LB at a time in a Dollar Tree laundry bag.If I'm going to fish it very much I'll put a little bit of packer peanuts, something to bring the bag up when it's M/T then fill it again . You will draw smaller bait fish and a few carp.Good luck .

If I am after blues, I chum with range cubes and fish with shad. The range cubes will bring in the shad, and the blues will feed on them.
