Basix FC line did a satisfactory job for me spooled up w/20# Fished 2 days here on Fork..no problems.
Rigged a T-rig & Jig it casts fine boated bigger Fish as well wouldn't hesitate to use it again.
Abrazx is my goto line along w/Red Label..If I was going fishing for a day or two and prefer new line I would use it.
However if fishing day in day out I have confidence w/Abrazx.
It is Seaguar they really don't disappoint.. 2cents

Interesting. I've used this and haven't had any of the previous mentioned issues.

Maybe it’s hit or miss. I dunno. But I can’t wait to peel the stuff off tonight and respool. I put this stuff on Wednesday evening. Fished a Thursday working man’s, then flipped the rocks and dam on grapevine all day Saturday, went out again Sunday and it was less windy. Thought that my problem was the lighter shakyhead and heavy winds. It wasn’t. The stuff just doesn’t lay down in the spool like InvisX. This is on a Steez reel that has been flawless for years. Only thing I changed was that dirt cheap spool of line.

When I’d peel line off to relay the line in the spool, as I wound it through my fingers I could feel a LOT of rough spots where the line “dented” itself in the spool. It didn’t feel like this when I spooled it the first time. It felt smooth(ish) Now it feels like Berkley vanish. Haha. The line frays very easily, with lots of little curly cues running up the line. The slightest scrub on a dock piling, it will look like I sliced it on a razor blade.

I didn’t lose a fish with it. And it’s strong. It just doesn’t behave like the better line. For whatever reason.

For me…it ain’t worth the savings.

I was just watching a gear review video that Tactical Bassing did in the last few days and Matt reviewed this line. Overall, he thought it was a good buy for what you get. He said it behaved really well and laid down on the spool great. His only downside to the line is it was a little thick in diameter compared to other higher end Fluro.

I never needed any cheaper line than Red Label lol. I've used Red Label a lot for moving baits where I change the line often. But for bottom contact baits, its too stretchy for me.

Thats my money fish

It is what you have your confidence in .Long ago it took me a long time to get off mono and try floro but I now use both for different reasons .I have tried near all of the floros and have yet to find one stronger than seagur red .Some are more supple and get less curling but none are stronger. When you use 20# and it takes all you have to break it when hung up ? I need nothing else .
