she jumped twice, I had set the hook a second time, probably went around 12-12.5. fought her all the way to the boat and when I reached over for my net (fishing solo) she made a surge and got just far enough out of the water to toss my lure back at me.

Big fish and bank fishing can be a real hassle, the fish definitely have the upper hand. I lost a giant a few weeks ago as well, we've all been there.

I was throwing a finesse worm this past weekend and hooked into a monster, thought it was going to be my BP for sure. Wrong kind of monster, it was a big ole drum.

And that is really exciting for about fifteen seconds until you find out what it is and then it just plain sucks
