I am just a regular old fan but I don't understand this off-season and this pick one bit. Every other team that traded a big name WR got some strong value for them. Eagles traded for AJ Brown tonight and sent a first and a 3rd. Cowboys got nothing for Cooper. Got nothing for Collins but here they are reaching for Smith. A damn 2nd round at best project. Every single draft analysis shows he is a penalty waiting to happen. Just what they need, more drive killing O line penalties.
They let a damn good backup WR go 8n Wilson who knew tge system, had great chemistry with Dak, excelled when he played and would have been a bargain to re-sign.
I honestly don't get it. Sad thing is they are gonna Pollard and Schultz get away after this season and get nothing in return.

The center from Iowa was the perennial pro bowl pick they should’ve got.

The center from Iowa was the perennial pro bowl pick they should’ve got. Agree the Iowa kid would have been the safer pick.

Should've traded down, the meat of this draft is in the mid rounds After a couple of players went before the Cowboys I agree. They should have traded down.They reached on drafting Smith in the 1st. Ciwboys will get 3 years of him not reaching potential and will be playing elsewhere I disagree. They should’ve moved up and taken a stud. Worked well for them in the past but what do I know.

I’ve watched most of these guys at least once and some several times. I follow college and pro football 365.

I'm pretty damn jaded by the Cowboys. A I just don't understand some of their moves. Hell the Cardinals gave up a 1st round pick to the Ravens for WR Marquis Brown. Yet the Cowoys gave Cooper away. Wilson is just as good as Marquis Brown too. Makes no sense.

You draft players in the first round that can help the team from almost day one, not a project that needs to coached up and a penalty waiting to happen as one of the commentators said.
two picks later a possible pro bowl pass rusher was taken!
What are they doing?
