The Lake Fork FB page is pure entertainment gold regarding the questions and comments posted there about the lake levels. I urge anyone needing a good laugh to check it once in a while.

The East side has to fill up first.

It's hilarious to see just how many people have reached adulthood with little to no common sense.

Be nice if it was 15+ feet low for 3+ years

It would really boost the fishing but all the metromess people who bought places on the lake are crying like someone stole their children at 6 feet low...

Seriously????? What do you think that all the residents around the lake are just going to drag their water hoses to the lake and turn them on???? RAIN IS USED TO FILL THE LAKE. Wow, some people....LOL

I suspect it will be double digits low by fall. Our window for lakes catching water is closing fast. I'm sure it will be good for the fishing long term. I do wonder how low it has to go before the SRA ramps become unusable?

154 ramp was built and usable way before lake filled.

Pope's ramp they say can be used at 15+ feet low.

It's not that complicated of process to extend ramps, especially during a Texas summer.

I looked at some numbers on crest on NOAA and it looks like if she doesn't fill up by this time next month or at least come up a foot or two, it will probably be late winter or early spring next year before she starts heading the other way. If you have property on Fork right now and would like to add some fishing structure along your shores, cypress trees, etc now would be a good time to do it. Can we take bets on which side will fill up first? banana noidea roflmao
