I bought two of the swivel mounts and two seats from Acadamey for my aluiminum bench seats . After trying all day there is no way to mount them together .Not enough room to get under the seat to screw in the seat bolts .If you attach the swivel base to the seat there is no way to screw the base on . Is the plastic base from Bass Pro that disconnects any good , or is the bracket from Acadamy that fits over the bench seat the best ? Also since my bench seat is filled with Styrofoam there is no way to bolt a mount on other than self tappers in a thin aluminum bench . Was thinking maybe getting a piece of plywood and using 3m marine calk to attach it to the bench.

I like the quick disconnect so I can remove the seat and keep them out of the weather the best .
