I live on Lake Tyler and I go out and talk to the fishermen around my place occasionally and I can tell most do not like Mega Live. But I had the control head so Mega Live for me was just the cost of the transducer which was costly enough. And at times it worked beautifully. Anyway for the problems. So with my first problem Humminbird recommended that I do something to increase operating voltage to over 12 volts so I put in an Amped lithium battery that runs my Mega Live transducer. But now when on MLI the screen freezes up and I have to turn off and on to reset screen. But it still freezes up. For those who may know, do I need to run the control head, Mega 360, sonar and Mega imaging off the lithium. In other words, does the entire combined system need to run at 13 volts. All other systems work fine with the lithium Mega Live or the lithium off. Any ideas? Or do I need all my serial numbers and software version number for a call to Humminbird??
