Anyone here take it" Dr, gave me a prescription Friday and I still have not started it. Not for depression, but my fuse is becoming short. Kinda like get off my Lawn type stuff, I just wanted snap. Some would call it getting older, but its so out of character for me and happening more often. Kinda concerned about the side effects also. Just thought I would ask.

If you need it, take it. Don't think twice.

Pills are terrible for you, I say don't take it, seek alternative treatment.

If it's out of character for you, have you thought about counseling? Or seeking a second medical opinion? Several physical issues can cause you to become a bit irritated/erratic...but it could also just be the typical stressors. I know a lot of my clients have told me they are angrier/more easily agitated than before. Heck, I know I tell my fellow drivers they are number 1 all day every day...and that wasn't always the case.

I have not taken Zoloft, but know a few people that do...again, if you're that concerned about it, talk to your PCP or your pharmacist.

I wish you well, man.

Courage - knowing something will hurt and still doing it.
Stupidity - knowing something will hurt and still doing it.

That’s why life is difficult

Tread lightly with this kind of stuff. They often make things worse.

Had a girlfriend that lost both breast to cancer at 38 years old. Sunk into a deep depression. Zoloft helped her…kinda knocked the top off of highs, and the bottom off of lows.

Did have an unfortunate sexual side effect.

Talk to your doctor. I wish you good luck.

I'm in this camp. Work out the problem. Just look at our country and you can understand everyone's fuse getting shorter.

I am totally in agreement with this , Dr's are pill pushers . I would try to address what you think is the actual root cause . Pills just resolve a symptom and never address the actual cause .

Hope you find something that works for you.
It does seem all are feeling more pressure than normal.
It has been a couple of crazy years for sure. See a lot of stupid being done and seems there is nothing we can do to stop it directly.
