Myself and good friend Steve fished a creek deep in the hart of the hill country. We fished from 7:30am till 11:30am and caught a bunch of Redbreast and Bluegill. A couple of bass rounded out the catch. Caught over 50 fish and left them biting. Most were released and Steve kept some for the dinner table. Fish are in spawn mode and were all caught on worms using bottom techniques. Fish were caught in 3 to 6 feet of water close to drop offs and grass beds. The creek is in good condition but could easily use 2 to 3 inches of good solid rain. Catching some hill country sunnies. It just don't get any better!

That's what I want to hear. I'm just starting to see some small males moving shallow. The next full moon is on May 15th. It should start to build to that point.

Chuck catching big ones and leaving em biting! Sounds about right! My bluegill up here are spawning as well!
