I read where this is the windiest April since 1996 and 3rd windiest since April 1967.
#LGB I believe it, wind gusts to 44mph this morning.

Sucked for driving across the main lake but the fish were chewing today.

Sucked for driving across the main lake but the fish were chewing today. Agreed. Saw about 3-4 boats all day.

I would rather fish in rain, sleet, or snow than wind. I hate it. It's a pain trying to control the boat and it limits how I can fish. I guess if I threw traps and spinnerbaits all day I wouldn't mind it as much.
I nicknamed my last boat the Silver Bullet. My partner's was the Orange Blossom Special. After this spring I'm gonna call this boat Stress Crack.

Gusting to 40mph out here, I doubt many are fishing. Windiest Spring I can remember. Just finished a tourney. It was choppy to say the least!

Gusting to 40mph out here, I doubt many are fishing. Windiest Spring I can remember. Just finished a tourney. It was choppy to say the least! Fished one myself on Ivie today. Wind was no joke but we managed a 29.20# bag for 1st with an 11.05 kicker

I had to stay home to today to chase down all my pool furniture! Two HEAVY duty lounge chairs also decided to go swimming. 73 degree water was a LOT of fun this morning around 9 am. Winds in our area hit gusts over 40mph last night around midnight. Upstairs patio had all the cushions from every seat blown off and most out over the rails. Found two in a roof valley today next to an outside upstairs wall. I ain't that mad at em anymore!
