 What kind of Catfish is this

We called it a mud cat cause it tasted like mud. What is the proper name for it. Sorry it's not a better photo but I know there are some people on that will know. No I did not eat this one. Black bullhead, Polliwog, Chucklehead Cat, bullpout etc.

Bullhead, yes. We used to catch them in creeks up home when I was a kid too. We would fry them whole. I loved eating the tails. They were like potato chips when you fried them...

That's what I know as a Bullhead for some reason my cousins calls them Pollywogs.

In MN during spring we caught them in the rivers by the thousands, filled 5 gal buckets and the pigs loved em.

I call them flathead bait, but the technical name is a bullhead, I think thatโs a black bullhead.
