My Grandson, Hunter and teammate, from Emory came in 29th out of 267 . Their next stop is Belton Lake for High School State fishing tournament. I'm so proud of him.

High Schoolers probably has close to 200,000 cast compared to maybe 20,000 MLF cast on a single day, the numbers aren't even remotely close.

I've never watched the pros as much as I watched with the tournament on palestine... had never seen anyone do that speed shaking they do or whatever its called. Does that really get fish to bite or is that what you do when you have tried everything else?

If we’re talking about what they did with their swim jigs I think it’s called the Alabama shake. Basically popping that thing all the way back.

I was just kidding. There are times that it works great. In fact I work a swim jig like that more times than not.
