Anybody regularly fish the oil rig that is directly visible off of the beach on the peninsula? I fish the jetties a ton but haven't gone over to the rig yet. Got an 18 foot boat so rarely go offshore. Tips and tactics would be much appreciated!

I have fished there some in the summer time. Caught some nice trout there to about 4lbs. also some redfish and stingrays.
