Well the bluegill are really starting to bite good now and are really active. Went Fishing today at a large creek i like to fish. Started fishing for carp with corn but that didnt work out then the bluegill started taking my corn like crazy so i decided to fish for them. Lots of them feeding on the surface. Caught some smaller bluegill and a nice green sunfish and a hybrid. Lots of fun. The turtles would not leave my corn alone either lol. I guess everything likes corn. Very good bait for fishing though. Caught some bass, catfish, bullhead, sunfish and carp all on corn.

I went today after work at turtle creek in Uptown Dallas. Same results. They were hungry. I caught everything on a rebel cricket hopper and rooster tail. Caught about 25 in about 1hour. Pretty much every other cast. Nothing of size but it was fun for sure.

I'm glad you had a good day. I'm still struggling to catch em' here in the hill country, They ate present and I catch one or two here and there but for the most part they are not interested.

God does not charge time spent fishing against a man’s allotted life span. “Fishing is much more than fish. It is the great occasion when we may return to the fine simplicity of our forefathers,” Herbert Hoover. “I spent most of my money on fishing. The rest I wasted,” Author Unknown.
