I ate this stuff when I was a kid. What we ate came out of a can tho. Been looking for a good recipe and was wondering if any of you ever made a bowl at home. If you have, do you mind sharing the recipe?

2 cups long grain white rice olive oil tomato paste pollo seasoning onion, garlic, serranos chicken stock
The key to having fluffy rice and not a sticky mess is to rinse the rice thoroughly. Rinse it until the water is clear and not milky.
dry the rice (paper towel in the bottom of a strainer works well) Pour a little olive oil in the bottom of a dutch oven and brown the rice (golden) using a spatula to gently stir the rice
add the onion, garlic and serranos to the browned rice and allow to cook for a min or 2.
Add a small can of tomato paste and stir in 3 cups of broth. Add a pinch or 2 of pollo seasoning, bring to low boil
Put lid on dutch oven and put in 350 degree oven.
Let it cook for 15 minutes, open it up and use spatula to gently turn the rice over and reset timer for another 15 mins.

Sounds interesting for sure. All I need now is the amount of the ingredients (onion, garlic, serrano's). BTW, rinsing the rice 2 to 3 times to get that milky look out also removes a lot of the toxins in the rice. Just ordered the Pollo Chicken seasoning and will be here tomorrow.

This video is how I make mine. I learned how to cook it by watching my mother. Turns out great every time.
