Depends on where you want to fish probably. I have seen the creeks in DFW go from 100+ fish a day to 15 a day in the last week. It’s 95% over around here.

I'm in Denton and having the same situation. Limit quick last week, got 4 this week. It's wrapping up for sure.

I think the whitebass only hang around in the creeks after the spawn if there is lots of shad otherwise the bass are motivated by their hunger to find the next meal...

The next time up in the creek look to see if the shad are in big numbers, if not then I would doubt there will be many whitebass but those that remain will be hungry!

Really depends on where you go. Some creeks are still stacked, others are kind of starting to end.

I sure hope it gets wrapped up soon. There are tons of feeding white bass on the main lake but they are mostly males. Catching big numbers but having trouble filling the coffin with keepers right now. Everyday more and more females are coming out of the creeks so things are improving.

I was seeing the tell tale signs over week ago in Rowlett creek / freewheel , other than no fish that its.

Tons of tiny fish next to the banks and the incoming carp.

That is the signal of the end.

This year seemed shorted than usual.
