Now I know you can't use these for bait but My daughter wanted to go crappie fishing. So I called on my guide friend up on Texoma to help get us on some fish. He did! We used live scope (my first time) it's like a video game! Anyway, we were having a pretty good morning and then like the flip of a switch, the cold front came through and I think it drove the fish off the banks. The deep fish didn't want to bite. But we managed enough for dinner today and we had a great time. We both remember great times catching crappie at the place we used to camp when the kids were little. We would catch em, take em back tot he campsite, clean em and fry em in a cast iron skillet over an open fire. It truely doesn't get any better than that! Looks like a great time, Tim! A day to be thankful for sure. How cool to spend time on the water fishing with your daughter. Even better to be catching those beautiful bait fish. Did y'all go out with Bryan over at Cedar Mills? No sir. I was with Jay Fuller. Usually out of Bumcomb Creek but after the tornado they are all scattered. So we met at cedar mills
