Hi. Please help. I beep beep beep beep beep beep alarm when I turn on the engine. The beep never stops. It seems that oil is filling the reservoir on the front of the motor. The water coming out of the pee hole is really hot. I’m not a mechanic. I think I need to replace the water pump even though it has a good stream at the back. Thank you for your help.

Check the remote oil tank float sensor. They tend to stick in the down (low/empty) position.

You could replace the water pump, that never hurts to do. but if I remember right this is usually a result of a fault oil tank in the boat. You can fix this by replacing the oil tank. Does it put the motor in limp mode and only let you run about 3/4 of max rpm?

I am having a bunch of normal service items done tomorrow. I can do most of these myself, but these days I just don't have the extra time. It's been awhile so why not. They are also gonna check out the oil system. I appreciate the feedback.

Oil system removed today. Lots of normal service. I’m now an oil mixer. Took it out to GV for a test run. I’m back! Thank you, Patterson Marine.
