Anyone tried the dam lately? I see they started generating in the late afternoon but has anyone been catching?

I went on Wednesday and Thursday of this week and fished the Oklahoma side for a couple of hours each day right after they started generating and both days I caught 3 eater sized stripers, on Wednesday didn't see a whole lot caught but Thursday was a better day as mostly everyone was catching them even if not very big. All caught on cork and jigs

They usually start making there way near the Dam starting first week of June. I have always had the most productive outings in June and July. However, with the new Generators not really sure anymore. In the past we would get 12K CFS, and now we get around 7K CFS. Always wondered how this now impacts the flow or stripers down stream. Any thoughts from the good people of this forum?

I spoke to a gentleman on Wednesday who had caught 4 nice sized stripers the day before down river using live shad and from the pictures he showed me one appeared to go at least 15lbs but he didn't have a scale so just guessing, however he said he tried again with live shad earlier on Wednesday but not even a bite this time. I fished with cork and jig near the wall after they started generating and caught 3 and went again on Thursday and caught another 3 during generating.
