No sir. It's a sponsored event so they use the MLF boats.

Sorta a combination of the Cup events and a normal BPT event. They know where they're going, but they use the MLF boats & jerseys

Saw a bit this afternoon. Wesley Strader lost three fish 4 pounds or bigger in the last period. Any of those would have moved him to the next round. Lost two of them flipping. Both came off at the boat. He was beside himself. I felt bad for him. Likeable guy and he would have KO'd Alton Jr.

I watched some of it yesterday... saw a lot of places I fish, knew the exact spot in the reeds they were flipping/pitching into. They are fishing too fast! Never saw a single guy throwing a small underspin. What's wrong with these guys? roflmao If they are more than a foot from the reeds... they aren't going to get bit. I'd ram that boat into the reeds and fish parallel to them... keep that bait in the strike zone... May have to go up there this afternoon and see what I can do.. roflmao

It really has been. It's not surprising though. The lake has been a little off the last year or so as far as giants go. Very few really big fish have been caught, even by the locals that know it like the back of their hand. The lake is full of 5-6lb class fish. Just don't see many fish bigger than that these days.

Gonna be an interesting Championship day with the 3lb min

Birge/Defoe and JR are all mid/south lake and doing well but most of the guys are north…let’s see how this plays out, but fish are pushing up on beds with this moon
I have 3 nice ones by my pier that weren’t here last week…they are coming

I'm pulling for Browning, heard him say he was going to slow down and make repeated casts at same spots.
