IDK man. I really make a conscious effort to not look at staff like that. If you are a male managing a bunch of people... you wont last long thinking like that. Your thoughts will come out somehow in your actions and then your in hot water. Always be mindful of how you think. But no. Probably not. Having been a construction superintendent for twenty years I can tell you every hot chick that’s been on my job sites. Take that non binary [censored] somewhere else. Like a boss!

The old wives tale was eyes up and to the right is lying. To the right is recalling from memory, to the left is fabrication of a story. Bigger than that.... is it their left and your right or your right and their left? What perspective is the good one from? I heard it once that if they look to their left it is a lie and looking to their right is a memory.

Hope you get your stuff resolved Dan.
Its not a biggie my man. Sadly these things are not totally uncommon. Something like this comes up about once a quarter. It was just unique in that I had never seen anyone have such a huge tell that they were lying... if thats what I was seeing. It was very unusual in that regard.

If you have proof of the matter, why bother with belittling and asking for her story, knowing she’s gonna lie. Just reprimand her and move on. Begin the meeting on a positive, hit the problem, then end with something positive.

if she doesn't get canned make sure to document everything in the meeting and have her sign it. yes. this definetly. Have a witness there so if she refuses to sign, have the witness sign attesting to this. Otherwise, they can and will go to try collect unemployment, and lie about why they were fired.
