Have not seen any on the water bodies I have fished this year. Like Steve stated above. " I think it will be real soon"!

I was told that blue gill and other species of sunfish spawn up to four times a year. Can anybody tell me if this is true?

I was told that blue gill and other species of sunfish spawn up to four times a year. Can anybody tell me if this is true? Usually three times a year. How ever would not surprise me if some spawn four times a year. Side Note: Usually different times on certain water bodies and areas.

2 weeks ago red ear were on nest and would not bite. Last week abandoned nest and caught lots of red ear
