So I had my boat sitting beside my house. Recovering from knee surgery 3 weeks ago. Starting to get things ready for the big pond for stripers. Looked all day for my fish finders in the house. Crawled up into my center console to check if they were in the boat. The owner and transducer cables were cut. Guess it’s time for some cameras. Can transducer cables be spliced.? Not a happy camper.

Do you have insurance on your boat and contents?

Thank you diesel. I have boat insurance which covers the boat and outboard motor. It does not include fish finders, trolling motor and contents rods reels ect. You can a additional policy to individually cover those items like a 5,000 policy to cover trolling motor and two fish finders. That costs like 50 dollars a year. If you don’t have this extra insurance you need it. You can also get no deductible with it. Lessons learned
