What a blast that was! Beautiful weather was on point for us both days! Only weighed in 3 on Saturday. Took us awhile to figure them out a little bit as we didnt prefish much. Managed 16.94 on Sunday and got a check. Lost one over 6 that would have really helped us, but thats fishing! Those early morning 70 mph boat rides are the bomb! How did you guys do?

We did terrible on Saturday, only weighing three fish. Sunday, tried lots of new water but only had two small keepers at 2:30. Went to a totally different area and caught three 4 pounders in the last 30 minutes. Weighed in 15 pounds and just missed a check, if only we had figured that bite out earlier in the day.

We SUCKED! I am so tired of it sucking so bad that I am thinking we just pick our home lake (Roberts) and fish only some events there. I won't call it jackpotting because we aren't good enough out there to be called a jack potter despite cashing our share of checks.

In all seriousness, we practiced only the Saturday prior to the event and only for about 5 hours. Found where they WEREN'T. Assumed since we focused super shallow in the backs of creeks and didn't find anything other than small possibly buck bass, that they were still staged. So, we focused there and a little further back in creeks/pockets in the tourney and only had 3 for 8.50 Saturday and 1 stinking fish Sunday. Fished 3,428 docks and never got a single bite on the dock itself. Every fish came off a retaining wall.

We suck and, honestly, I think I need to revisit my "career" of bass fishing.

Congrats to the winners Especially Stan and JD....2 great dudes.

I'm selling my BassCat and all of my equipment and just gonna be one of those guys that hires a guide once or twice a year when I feel like fishing. That should explain everything.

Glad I'm not the only one feeling this way lately. I had 2 of the best days of fishing in my life in early February, but everything since then (and before then) has been horrible. Just can't figure them out wherever I go. Need to turn it around...

It makes me feel better to know I'm not the only one that has these types of thoughts after tournaments. I feel your pain buddy!

How could someone cash a check on day one, then NOT reenter for day two?

Maybe they had a prior commitment? Who are you referring to?

Not gonna name the person. They have been banned from fishing our local club stuff a while back…caught breaking rules. Some used the word “cheating”….

Just thought it was interesting.
