Are the Kistler reels any good? They have a bogo deal going on

I wonder if their reels are sensitive but break easy too

Would not buy one if they were buy one get 3 free. Broke a Kistler rod setting the hook with a Carolina rig. Contacted them and would not do anything bout it. Kistler can kiss it

I have a few Kistler Rods and Reels. For the price the reels are hard to beat. I have had them for a year now and have had no issues at all.

+1 I dont think people realize like 40% of the reels on the market are DOYO reels that you buy for 120 retail yet these companies rebranding them are making huge profits on what they paid less than 20$ for lol

The Kistler reels are actually really high quality and have held up considerably well! Definitely worth it!

for 99 dollars after the bogo deal I bought 2 no reason not to give them a try.

Weird…was it out of warranty? I’ve had a full arsenal of Kistlers rods for the past 7 years or so and I’ve not broken the first one.

I LOVE my kistler rods. And one broke and they warrantied it. And have had zero problems with any other rods of theirs. Super super lite and very sensitive. I would give their reels a try.
