I switched over to crappie fishing last week so can’t offer any first hand info. The following is an excerpt from a report on a FB group I follow.

We spent the majority of our time in San Miguel fishing cypress tress and bushes in 1-3' with frogs, flukes, and flipping creature baits. Darker colors seemed to work better. Most of the bigger fish were caught on points of trees as well.

Indian Mounds is generally good this time of year but I’ve not heard anything about it lately. Before I swapped over to crappie, I was catching fish in 3-6 feet along creek channels in Six Mile using baby brush hog (water melon candy) , Carolina rigged lizard (pumpkinseed with a chartreuse spiked tail) and willow leaf spinner bait (chartreuse/white).

Not much else in form of useful fishing reports, but that’s the case most of time. Lot of folks don’t like/want to share info.

Just retired in January and I’ve fished more here on Toledo since February than I have in the previous 8 years I’ve had a place here.

I have had good luck in Patroon. There are lot's of boat docks between Pendleton bridge and Patroon. Red rattletraps & wacky worms.
