Definitely something different but yesterday I fished a bass kayak tournament at Lake Bridgeport yesterday 3/26 with 13 members of the Red River Kayak Bass League out of Wichita Falls and had a blast!

I was lucky enough to take home 1st place today!

I had a game plan and stuck to it and I had 2 fish in the boat in the 1st 5mins of the morning. I caught my 3rd just shortly after that and lost a nice one at the boat. In an hour I had four. I made a long run across the lake dodging all the bass boats and it paid off. I switched lures and they started eating! After getting my 5th fish I culled a few times. As I was bringing in one cast it got nailed at the boat and and swam straight down snapping my line and I almost cried lol. I caught my biggest of the day on the next cast (17.5”) and finished around 77+” for the day.

All in all it was a great day!

Where can I find the tournament schedule?

I was real anxious to give it a try as I've never used an app (Tourney X) like this before but it was a blast!
