These high school tournaments have gotten out of hand. Awesome they have them but man they need some structure. Like 100 boat limits or something.idk.
I can backlash toilet paper.

It will be interesting to see what kind of numbers they put up. I got to fish it as an amateur last spring in a Pro Am, with the 2nd place finisher on the pro side and he weighed in just a little over 22 pounds if I remember right. This lake has a lot of tournament pressure. I think almost every fish we brought to the weigh in had cull tag holes in their mouth when we landed them. Apparently, the fish on this lake get recycled a lot.

These high school tournaments have gotten out of hand. Awesome they have them but man they need some structure. Like 100 boat limits or something.idk. Yep, it’s insane how many kids are fishing them. The sport doesn’t need anymore growing, it’s plenty grown enough already.

The sport doesn’t need anymore growing. I wonder if HS fishing takes into consideration of any of the pro events scheduled? It's kind of hard to teach a huge group of young and impressionable minds to let the pros have their "work space" and then schedule an event that conflicts with said pros

Yep we sure do. Our schedule was out in the spring last year for this season. MLF told us flat out they screwed up and wasn’t moving it. Our schedule is out for 2022-2023 as well been out since January of 2022. These high school tournaments have gotten out of hand. Awesome they have them but man they need some structure. It’s a 6 day event so they only have to deal with the HS kids one day but Saturday does have potential to be a sh*tshow
