Surface Water Temperature 69 degrees, East Winds 10 mph. Fished MirrOdine XL’s, swimbaits and Down South Tails, with the presentation of the 1/4 oz jig head performing the best once again today. Water looks really good. Caught a couple Specs and a red early, but the action really heated up as the day progressed, With higher tides than normal the fish were right up against the shoreline, where the baitfish were thick. West side edges of drains produced the best, and left a few spots with fish still in a feeding frenzy. Caught lots of trout, a few reds and flounder as well. As always it was a great day to be on the water enjoying God’s beauty.
