 Quick Report! Crappie/Bluegill!

Myself with buddies Jeff and Steve have been fishing different waters over the past month. We spent last week fishing a common area and were able to mark some descent fish. Crappie and Bluegill. We marked two spots and will be fishing them again this week. We caught 30 crappie and about 50 sunfish in 6 hours of fishing. The crappie were all caught in one spot. Crappie were located in 7 to 12 feet of water. Bluegill were located in 5 to 10 feet of water. Jigs with the color of Chartreuse/Black was the bait of choice. We fished during a weekday and the boat traffic was medium. Going to venture to some less populated areas the upcoming weeks ahead. Scouting new places to fish with good friends is hard to beat. Did not take any pictures but will have some next post. Kept 20 Crappie and 10 Bluegill. The rest were released.

Nice post Curtis. Glad to hear you guys are finding some fish. The sunfish bite is picking up!

You forgot to tell us the lake name and the GPS coordinates to your spot. GPS coordinates???? When me and my neighbor go to the stumphole, as we're leaving he says "Pull off that pink and black jig and put on a red and black, we'll meet Jimmy C. before we get back". Sho nuff!!
