Going to Lake Whitney bass fishing for the first time next week. Are the any places I should be careful of? Stumps rocks humps etc,etc.Staying at lower end of lake near dam.

Lot of big bass around The marina that was called Harbor master. Believe it is Parsons now.

Is the lake safe to run,....any dangerous areas I should be aware of?

If going north from the dam always stay on the right of the island, The water on the left is real shallow One the north end going towards the mouth of the Brazos be sure to stay in the river channelas there are big stumps because its a old pecan orchard. .
