I hope everyone is getting out and fishing, this week was truly one of the best spring weeks I have seen in a long time. Fished 5 hours Monday and we had 16 fish and best 5 were a tad over 30 pounds. All the fish that count for best 5 were sight fishing. 8.71 big fish and two 7 pounders. all off beds Lots of 2-4 pounders to go along with them as well. Today we fished 8:30-3 and had 25 - 30 fish. Had one close to 10 that had already spawned out. No sight fish today, all "off the bank", but not "offshore". Lots of 2-3 pounders, the big fish and 2 solid 5 pounders. Fish are def biting. Fished Ray Hubbard.

What the hell is off the bank but not offshore? I've been struggling for a while, hopefully thus weekend will be different.

What the hell is off the bank but not offshore? I've been struggling for a while, hopefully thus weekend will be different. Like just out from the bank, where the fish are staging pre spawn or recovering from spawning. Where we started we could not get bit on the bank, so I threw a ned rig parallel to the bank aprx 20-25 off the bank like in 4-8 feet of water. If that makes sense.
