All I know is my chickens love fish eggs. Me? ehhh, I'll eat the fish the eggs came from and be satisfied with that.
God does not charge time spent fishing against a man’s allotted life span. “Fishing is much more than fish. It is the great occasion when we may return to the fine simplicity of our forefathers,” Herbert Hoover. “I spent most of my money on fishing. The rest I wasted,” Author Unknown.

Wondered how long it it would take for this to show up. Tried fried Roe from catfish, crappie, seatrout, snapper, & sunfish. I will add that it is has been a lower economical population to extend food sources in most regions or an item from the past. Gullah regions have had this on the menu form there time in the Carolina's, same for the Caribbean inlands. Most folks turn there nose up at grouper checks, redfish throats, or even catfish bellies. There is even folks that eat white roe, I could not do that one; male mullet fish parts are not for me. Maybe I should have stayed in my home bubble, but I would have had the chance " What the $%$@ is that?" so many time's and then surprised in the off the road places fishing. Roll the roe in corn meal, season, and deep fry. Use lots of local hot sauce and can be done.
