 I just broke the catfish record!!!!!

Yup, it took an Englishman to do it, but the old record is now gone. The fish was so heavy it would have sunk my small boat, so I motored to the bank and jumped in with it for the picture. My secret to success?? Well, most credit goes to Catfish Tim for all the coaching he has given me, but it's also down to the magic secret bait I used. I caught it on a size 30/0 round shark hook and a HUGE lump of cheddar cheese! I am going to patent it, BCB's Magical Catfish Bait, and am hoping to have in in the stores soon.

Congrats BCB. I take pride in knowing I taught you everything you know! It all comes down to time on the water, or in this case in the water... Now you can tell your wife you NEED a bigger boat. Just think of the live well you'll need to keep catching fish that size. That flathead trip must have really had an impact on you. I guess I need to tie a rope on Wyatt. If he got near that thing it would swallow him whole!

Did he eat it???
That fish is so big, he just cuts off a piece for dinner, and the fish doesn't even notice. Bob is kind of doing the catch and release thing... keeping it in his pool!

Gosh, I never thought about the boat. I need to strike while the iron is hotโฆ..maybe get a crane fitted alongside the rod rests as well.
I had better look into it pronto!

I was thinking of eating it, but my long suffering wife would have given me hell making a mess in the kitchen, so decided to put it back.

Ken Ken, you're killin me!! Bob, I just want to know how you got the picture. My phone doesn't have a 12 minute timer! Unless, of course, it was actually Tim taking the picture, and, if so, we all know that he caught it and just let you take a picture with it!!
