Saturday was one of the worst days I've ever had on the lake. It was so bad I contemplated not fishing the tourney and going to Holbrook. However, I won an early entrant prize and decided to go ahead. Cut a check in the first hour that was the first fish anyone on my boat caught all weekend. Ended up catching several more that weren't the right size and held on to one that I ultimately decided to let go. The highlight of the weekend was finding a deer swimming across the middle of the lake and getting him back to shore. No, we didn't put him in the boat but got behind him and encouraged him to go the other way.

Torsion axle on trailer started failing Saturday. Wheel came off after a late start. Went back for the wheel and since I was only 1/3 of the way to the lake came back to Lavon. I probably should've just kept going at this point.

Caught about a dozen fish. Biggest was almost 6. Had a 1-10 I let go. Had good time, screamed at an idiot pontoon driver that went by me looking down at his shoes not paying attention

We caught an over Friday. Caught unders that would have paid Fri and Sat. Sunday nothing that would have got a check. A 2.1 did take an all day trip with us though. Sometimes I wonder if prefishing is good. We did figure out what they were biting though.

put the boat in sat. am and no water pressure.

Sartin marine did me a good and got me in for a water pump since it was overdue and I thought that would be it. WRONG! looks like I probably have a hole in a gasket between the head and mid section. goes back to Sartin fri.

this has been the longest stretch of not fishing I can remember in a looong loooooong time, 6 mos. +

Ended up doing pretty good, Me and my cousin caught 12 to 15 Sunday and cashed 2- Checks. The cool thing we fished till 10:30 with no other boats around us. 1400 anglers and we don't see anyone close to us for 4 hours. If you would have saw us, you would have said what are they doing fishing there?, There ain't know fish there.. However we were blessed.

We saw plenty of people running the boat Lane., but that was it. All in all, good day for us. We split 1300.00
