My dad and I caught our personal bests dead sticking this past February. Finally got over the 10 lb mark! We caught 17 total, threw them all back. It has been a struggle to find the striper in March! Anyone catching any? If so, where and how?

Woohoo that's HUGE and congrats on your PB, Brandon clap
March Madness is tough on most lakes in North Texas cuz they are busy enjoying/trying to replenish the lakes.

Thank you! Is it even worth going out and trying this coming Saturday?

I would go. It's April lol. The thing about fishing is "you won't know unless you go."
I plan to go Friday (April fool's day) and do some scouting, mostly structure and shallow fishing and keepin eye on birds. So I will find out if I can fool the fish or get fooled. Lol. It's learning for me either way.

A wise yogi told me once if there is no darkness then light has no meaning, and vice versa. One doesn't exist without the other wink

That is good advice! If the weather is decent, I will give it a go. Let me know how Friday goes please!

The fish are still spawning but are starting to move to shallower spots at the ends of the lake. Start to look around the humps and points and flats North or West. The fish are there and you can find schools or thump schools in... Just like Winter fishing, when they are hot they are red hot and if not, you get lots of beautiful graph images. Saturday morning was a bust, Saturday morning was decent and Sunday morning was 8 person limits... You just have to be at the right place at the right time and if you are, lucky you!

Thank you for the info! Our boat slip is at Eisenhower, do we need to go north up the Washita River?
