I wanted to go to FCL today, but my car has an issue and I don't want to drive far until it's fixed, so I went back to Medina. Got on the water about 745 and plenty of fish jumping near the park, but they only want to eat bugs lately. Plenty of decent sized fish jumping though, up to 2-3 pounds. Did a lot of paddling today and went farther up the lake than I have before and was rewarded with lots of fish, but nothing big at all. I think I hooked 12 bass and 2 crappie and landed 8 or 9 bass. The biggest were about 12 inches. The water was 58 this morning, I'm sure it's up a few degrees after all this sun. I saw one carp as well but no sunfish or catfish yet, though I think a couple sunfish nibbled on my spinner. Great day overall but water is still cold for swimming.
