Last year we went to 99 bridge to catch spawning crappie. However, the grass was completely thick from the channel to the bank. I saw no way to fish the banks with a jig. We caught some in channel trees, but banks and coves were pretty much full of grass. Does anyone know if that is still the case this year? Or, do any of you know of a way to fish that much grass?

Thanks

It's pretty much the same -- hydrilla and water hyacinth are still thick on the river, plus the lake is lower, but not enough to expose the shore line. bang
