I have not been but I have not seen any reports on sandbass. I would assume the majority of them are still up the creeks trying to spawn.

I got an invite and fished with 2 buddies Friday from noon to 630pm. Sandies are still deep 25+ ft and at fewer spots, kinda like the pattern this time last year. We resorted to deadstick, drumming them in, and caught 30 fish (with one 17" hybrid). The sandies are fatty-bloated with eggs. Water temp 56 to 61f.

Many of the fish are up the creeks right now on our area. Usually mid-late april the fish start coming off the spawn in numbers.

I went out last Sunday and spot locked on 1 spot. Caught them for almost 2 hours straight. Then picked up a few at every spot we checked after that. Lots of them were full of eggs. 20-25ft in the main lake.
