Looking for some suggestions on the "best value" for some lightweight/mid weight bibs and jacket for the upcoming warmer months. I saw Academy has some Magellan brand bibs that I don't remember seeing in the past and I don't know of anyone that has them. I realize that some folks live and die by Simms......I'm just not going to spend $400-$500 for something that may only get worn a handful of times in the next 7 or 8 months. Thanks fellas!

I've always used Frogg Toggs during the warmer months. Here's a new bib they offer: https://www.froggtoggs.com/stormwatch-bib. Pair it with this jacket: https://www.froggtoggs.com/stormwatch-jacket.

My HS kid has this set-up. Seems to work pretty well.

Light Simms Goretex Jacket and Northface pants. Brought the jacket on close out for $90. I have worn that combo for more than 12 years at a bunch of travel locations around the world. I was just looking at old travel photos. Surprising how many that jacket is in.
