Most of you may not have ever fished Lake Houston, if you ever get the chance come on down and give one of the tuffest lakes to fish in Texas a try and here it is I'm guiding on it...... The conditions are a lowering of a foot (which is a big deal on this lake) Tuesday in front of the recent storm, 3 inches of rain, a change almost 2' in lake level and from a decent green to Yahoo colored nasty 0 clarity water...... This was my 1st and I'm sure it won't be my last..... I report the good and the bad..... Bad conditions are all part of fishing. Me personally. I will usually wait until conditions improve on a waterbody.  Side Note: I have caught fish when conditions have been below average.

I’ve fished it plenty before and it’s not easy! Once you learn how to fish the chocolate milk, it’s just like the rest of the area lakes!
