Do you have another unit up front you'll be using? I did, I had a Helix 10 and added a Garmin 102 SV. I went with the 5" stacked mount from Str8up Mounts. Really like it. Sturdy and well built and the owner is great too! Check here.

I bought one for my 1022 and 12" Carbon for the front deck and absolutely love it. I was going to make one in my shop as well (we have a shear and press break) but theirs are out of 1/4" Aluminum and powder coated and predrilled for less than 150.00 Couldnt beat the price. Powder coated alone was going to run me 75 bucks
