Does anyone know if the ramp way upriver, in the power line right-of-way, is still useable? Haven't been there in years, I think it was off of Ridgecliff Dr.

I thought some part of the dam had collapsed and the water was down.

I have not been there yet this year. The ramp was still there this past October but in very poor condition.

I never did get to launching there. All the dam failures put me off. Definitely want to try it though.

Chuck, thanks for the reply. I went up there today. You were right, it is in very poor condition. With a small boat and FWD truck, it is probably doable, but parking is the other issue. No real specified spaces, and I am pretty sure the neighbors are not happy to see you anywhere in the area. I left there and went over to River Shade RV Park on Meadow. It is even worse, steep enough to maybe launch, but loading up would be a real trick.
